Who Has The Last Word? Depends on Who Protects Who
The home is a haven for everyone, especially the weaker and more vulnerable. That is usually the children or grandchildren. Grandma and Grandpa are opposite personalities. She loves people and he loves devices. She has invited some of her grown children over and their spouses. He has invited Larry’s dad over as he is the richest most powerful man in town and has access to lots of devices. Let’s see how Grandma and Grandpa differ in their perceptions, emotions, beliefs, and actions.
Grandma tends to see people in the environment as number one interest.
Grandpa see’s devices and neglects those around him. He does not stop to consider how they perceive, feel, believe, or act.
Grandma loves people but fears some.
Grandpa loves those he can share his devices with the most. He is afraid of those who do not have the same interests because he does not understand them or their feelings.
Grandma believes in the power of people to help the world.
Grandpa believes in the power of devices.
Grandma lays the law down. Grandpa knows better that to fight her. She will not give in.
Everyone follows suit. They are in her workshop and their children will learn from her. She rules. If Grandpa had been the only parent between them of the children it would of been his workshop and the devices and Larry’s dad would of prevailed. Pick your battles carefully and be diplomatic about it.
