From Looser to Hero, Awareness, A Start,

The Team, of Upper Nature oriented kids, let Cuz know he is lacking by not helping BJ from illegally being taken by her father, when he does not have custody.

His consciousness tells him he is normal, his widgets are not genetically or developmentally small but he has to help them do the right things to have helped his Cuz. He wants to know how to go about that. Dragon, that directs his Lower Nature widgets, is not going to stop with the lies, selfish cheating, blaming, nor violence as they are hard wired to be quick.

His consciousness is telling him his Ant and Bee, perception widgets, that they are not seeing enough. Also his fear and love widgets, Macho and Cuddles, are not feeling the horror in the people around him. His consciousness is also saying Geru, his thinking widget, is not seeing the bigger picture beyond the moment, so he can not assess the current situation right. And lastly, Cuz’s consciousness is telling his small patience, Tuttle, and his small action widget, Rabbit, they were ineffective. Cuz realizes his girl friend is disappointed in him. But Cuz does not know how to improve his widgets effectiveness.

Cuz wants to be a Hero, but he feels he needs Super Powers. His consciousness tells him he needs tools beyond what he has and that to obtain them can be rewarding. The science of observation is called Ethnography. A field manual shows us how to do it. It uses very simple math as we take notes on the factors involved, how they differ at different times and places. No science can be accurate without Ethnographic techniques used first before experimentation to prove a hypothesis. The science of observation gives us all Super Powers. Empathy is another Super Power he need to learn. It is his guide to understand others. Geru needs more knowledge, knowledge gives Super Power if it gives us a map of the world to better see what needs to be done to be a Hero with Super Powers. And any skills we learn to help us in our Journey are also Super Powers.

 

The notes are simple. List the factors such as time, place, actions, words, gestures, etc. List how often they occur and to whom. Here are some of the factors in the case of Cuz and BJ.

When Cuz thinks about the past he begins to see or remember that there are different groups of people that see, feel, think, and act more alike and different from others. By taking count of how they all see, feel, think, and act he sees four groups and that they are against or for Larry and BJ’s dad. He has seen a common denominator. Everyone is afraid of BJ’s and Larry’s dad and not at her behavior.

Cuz was thinking of the negative response to him from BJ’s dad if he stopped him from taking her. He had not thought about the positive rewards of doing what is right in the eyes of the others. Empathy is from love, and love is very powerful and pleasant. Empathy is a Super Power, it protects us and others and is very rewarding.

Scary thoughts can stop our empathy and lead us to blame others rather than see the dynamics of human interactions and the positive outcomes if we act from a sense of helping rather than fear. Our Lower and Upper Natures can be at odds.

Fear is a symptom of not knowing what is happening and expecting the worst. When we are in our Lower Nature of survival mode we do not have access to the Powerful Upper Nature. The Lower Nature is a small primitive part of the brain with only bad memories and a small list of actions, lie, cheat, blame, and fight. But when the Upper Nature is in charge we have more Super Power to think and how to solve problems. His consciousness is suggesting he listen to reliable news, get help with calming fears and building empathy, learning from Schools and Spiritual Schools, that will help him plan better, and work within the law as it can protect you.

When all our Upper Nature Widgets work together our actions can have Super Power to get things done.

We can love or hate. But not at the same time. So love and empathy calm fear. This allows our Super Power of patiently thinking to do it’s magic. The Lower Nature is very necessary and needs to be in control if we are in imminent danger. Otherwise it is just not powerful enough to problem solve in safe realities.

Learning from others who have used their Super Powers to observe, feel, reflect, and act can help us on our own Journey. Books can be where the wisdom of others is stored.

When trying to see the Upper Nature and Lower Nature of our society we need to follow the money to see which widget, or agency, of our society is being given leeway to grow and help us or harm us. In your observations you may see others are indeed harming you or others, such as BJ’s father. Cuz can counter his actions only if he has empathy for him, and not with lies, hate, blaming, and/or hostility. This will be the crux of his journey, to help all people, even those who are living mostly in their Lower Natures when they do not need to.
